EGM and Critique Evening

The evening started with a short EGM for the election of a new Chairman and Programme Secretary. John Sammonds (Chairman) and Laura Drury (Programme Secretary) were elected unopposed. This was followed by an informal and lively critique of members prints and pdi's which was lead by the new Chairman, John Sammonds.

Set Subject Urban Landscape Competition

Our Set Subject competition was judged by David Bish LRPS. David had a large entry of prints to judge and he selected "Liverpool Street Station" by David Berger as the winner of the Trophy. Peter Brewer came second with "French Roofs" and Cherry Larcombe was third with "Old and New".

Members' Evening

In the first half of the evening, Paul Quaile showed us some images from his holiday to America and in the second half, John Sammonds brought along a cartload of flash equipment and demonstrated various techniques, how different settings can influence the length of the flash, bounced flash, using umbrella reflectors. Thanks to Paul and John.

AV Evening

Our Competition Secretary, Steve Hewitt, gave us a presentation of various AV's put together by members of Seaford Camera Club. There were various types of AV's, some with just music and some with voice overs to give us some ideas of how to put together our own AV's in time for our AV evening in April. Thank you Steve for putting all this together.
