Our first set subject competition of the season was "Contre Jour". This technique is challenging but can produce fantastic results with stunning images. The second PDI Competition of the season was judged by Ian Howard, who stepped in when our scheduled judge was unable to attend and gave us an excellent critique of each image with some humour thrown in. Once again there was a bumper crop of images entered and in group 2 the fourth image from each person was removed; these can be entered in to another competition later in the season if the members so wish.
